CORE Management Team
Mairead has more than 20 years’ experience working in technology throughout Europe, the United States and the Middle East. She is an experienced Board Level leader having held several senior leadership positions including General Manager, Managing Director and CEO. She has a passion for building high performing multi-disciplinary teams and leading transformation programmes.
Mairead was appointed General Manager of CORE Tech in September 2016 to establish Cultura’s Mitchelstown office as a European R&D centre of excellence. Her role focuses on growing CORE Tech through strategic international expansion, investment in talent and R&D, delivering excellence in customer experience, forming strategic stakeholder partnerships and driving strategic acquisition in Ireland and the UK.
Mairead previously served a five year term as a government appointed non-executive director on the Galway Harbour Board, a five year term as a non-executive director of Galway Chamber, a two year term as an advisor on the Chambers Ireland skills policy council and a term as President of Network Galway. She is an accomplished keynote speaker and a vocal advocate for Women in Technology and STEM in higher education.

Feed Division Manager
With over 35 years agri/dairy industry experience, Donal has worked with CORE for 30 of those years. Donal has a degree in Industrial Electronics and has been responsible for some major client projects. These include the implementation of the CORE Branch Business System in Glanbia (covering over 50 stores) and in the Dairygold Co-Op, which included their Animal Feed Mill and 39 retail hardware/DIY and agri-branches.
Donal’s role focuses on product roadmaps to ensure CORE offers flexible and innovate solutions to help sustain and grow businesses operating in Ireland and the UK.
Dairy Division Manager
Liz joined the CORE team in 1995 and since then has been responsible for some of the company’s leading milk projects. She is a graduate Cork Institute of Technology and has experience in software development, consultancy and project management. As a functional consultant with CORE Dairy she influenced the design and functionality of what is now one of our flagship products, CORE Milk.
As Dairy Division Manager, Liz will ensure new technology continues to support the dairy industry while expanding the CORE Milk software footprint in Ireland and the UK.
Software Development Manager
As Software Development Manager, Liz has specific responsibility for retail & mobile.
A graduate of University College Cork, Liz has worked with CORE for almost 30 years growing her career from a development role to a Senior Functional Consultant prior to her current appointment. Liz’s role combines her software experience with her interest in technology and understanding of client requirements across all sectors of the CORE Technology business.
Liz’s role delivers continuous product innovation and works with customers to create technology roadmaps that are designed to future proof their business growth.
DBA and OBI Service Manager
Jim has worked with CORE Tech for 13 years during which time he has been responsible for engaging with customers to provide DBA, business intelligence and Cloud services. Jim was also responsible for designing integration services between CORE, SAP, and Oracle Ebiz (BPEL). He has completed training on Oracle DB, Fusion Middleware and OBIEE and most recently completed the ITIL Foundation course. IN his spare time, Jim is a keen golfer.
Jim is responsible for engaging with customers to provide DBA, business intelligence and Cloud services.
A graduate of University College Cork, Lynn joined the CORE software team in 2013. She has specialist knowledge of the CORE Dairy product suite and is an expert in the areas of support, quality assurance, training and consultancy.
Lynn has been involved in and led several project implementations throughout Ireland and the UK.
Geraldine Quinlan Burke
A graduate in computing from IT Tralee, Geraldine joined CORE as a business analyst in 2004 having held roles in system and software support in banking, telecommunications and internet security. Geraldine has played an important role in CORE ERP implementations across the retail, agribusiness and milling sectors, giving her in-depth knowledge the CORE product suite as well as a deep understanding of client business processes.
In her role as Operations Lead, Geraldine is responsible for implementing and driving multiple efficiencies throughout the CORE business.
