Since launching in 1982, the focus has been to provide individual, but robust Agri Tech software that enhances our clients’ businesses. Our ethos of providing honest and professional support complements our industry-specific solutions by first building a strong relationship with our clients before galvanising it into a long-term bond.

Achievements

We are exceptionally proud of the milestones we have achieved during our history.

• In 1982, CORE Computer Consultants was founded in the heart of the Golden Vale to develop solutions for the largest co-operative. Its vision, which remains true to this day, was to provide cutting-edge software solutions to Agri, builder providers and retail industries.
• A year later, CORE Tech developed one of its flagship products – COREretail – an ERP solution specific for the Agri trading sector. This was in response to a gap in the market for an Industry-specific software solution.
• 1989 saw the development of COREmilk, launched to fulfil Irish dairy industry’s need for a software system that would seamlessly manage co-ops milk management requirements. COREmilk remains an industry leader to this day.
• Six years into the 21st century and our first dedicated mill installation was launched – marking the beginning of our journey to continuously improve and advance our milling solution.
• In 2015, CORE Tech was acquired by Cultura Technologies, a multinational software powerhouse in the Ag-tech market, to further strengthen CORE Tech’s position in the milling, dairy, and retail sector markets.
• A year later, through endless research and development, CORE successfully developed mobile apps and customer portals. CORE Milkedin app – just one of countless successes in this area – enabled farmers to access all their milk information from anywhere in the country through its software.
• Significant investment in CORE’s milling solution has enabled labelling, formulations, and cost set management facilities to be added to the app. The software solution was also re-branded as COREmill and now manages 50% of all Irish grain intake.
