A decade in good company: CORE Technology and Cultura, 10 years on

Ten years. It’s a milestone that’s given us a reason to pause, look back, and appreciate how far we’ve come, not just as a business, but as part of something much bigger.

When CORE Technology joined Cultura Technologies and the Volaris Group back in 2015, we stepped into a global family within Constellation Software Inc. (CSI), one of the largest and most respected software companies in the world.

At the time, it was a big move. We were, and still are, deeply rooted in Ireland’s Agri and Dairy co-op and retail community. But the opportunity to be part of a wider network of industry specialists, people who understand their sectors as well as we understand ours, felt like the right next step. A decade later, it’s clear it was.

Connected to a global network, grounded in local knowledge 

Being part of Constellation means we’re connected to one of the most experienced networks of software leaders in the world. Across the Volaris and Cultura families, every company is led by people who’ve built their businesses from the ground up, experts who know their industries inside out.

And yet, that connection doesn’t come with compromise. Constellation and Volaris do not centralise or rebrand its companies; it empowers them to stay independent, close to their customers and true to their markets.

That’s exactly why you might not hear the Constellation name every day – but you’ve likely used software from one of its hundreds of specialist companies.

For CORE Tech, that independence backed by shared experience really is the best of both worlds. We run our business our way, decisions made here in Ireland, by the same people who know our customers and our sector best but with the insights, learning, and stability of a global powerhouse behind us.

One of the biggest benefits of being part of the Cultura portfolio within Volaris has been the access to a community of peers, people solving similar challenges in different corners of the world.

Through Cultura Collaboratives and Volaris Group Summits, we connect with developers, leaders and innovators from the US, Europe and beyond. These aren’t just conferences; they’re conversations full of shared ideas, lessons learned, and moments that spark new thinking.

Every time we come back from those events, we bring something useful home – whether it’s a new approach to a technical challenge, a product idea or simply fresh motivation. That constant exchange of ideas has shaped our strategy and strengthened our both our products and our people over the years.

Ten years in, we’re as ambitious as ever. With the continued backing of Cultura and Volaris, we’re evolving our CORE Tech ERP suite to meet the changing needs of the agri-food industry from co-ops and feed mills to dairy processors and retailers across Ireland and the UK.

We’re exploring new ways to connect data, improve sustainability, and create lasting value for the people and businesses that feed our communities.

It’s been a decade of growth, collaboration, and good company and we’re just getting started. Here’s to the next ten years.
