Our History
For over 40 years, our ongoing commitment to R&D has enabled us to deliver niche, industry-specific solutions that are unmatched by other providers. Our investment in research and people has enabled us to continuously innovate our product suite and serve our customers as the industry continues to face change.
1982
CORE Computer Consultants was founded in the heart of the Golden Vale to develop solutions for Munster’s largest co-operative. Its vision, which remains true to this day, was to provide cutting edge software solutions to agri, builder providers and retail industries.
1983
CORE Tech develops one of its flagship products COREretail (an ERP solution specific for the agri trading sector), in response to a gap in the market for an Industry specific software solution.
1989
COREmilk was designed in response to the Irish dairy industry’s need for a software system that would seamlessly manage co-ops milk management requirements. COREmilk continues to be an industry leader.
2006
In 2006 we installed our first dedicated mill installation, marking the beginning of our journey to continuously improve and advance our milling solution.
2015
CORE Tech is acquired by Cultura Technologies, a multinational software powerhouse in the Ag-tech market, further strengthening CORE Tech’s position in the milling, dairy and retail sector markets.
2016
Backed by our ongoing commitment to R&D, CORE turn their focus to developing mobile apps and customer portals. CORE MilkedIn app was one of the many successes in this area, developed to give farmers on the go access to all their milk information in one simple app and currently available to 10,000 plus farmers!
2018
Significant investment enhances our milling solution to include labelling, formulations, and cost set management. We re-branded the solution as COREmill and we now manage 50% of all Irish grain intake.
2023 & Beyond
CORE Tech remains committed to continual R&D & innovation. We continue to collaborate with our clients to shape cutting edge software solutions that match their business needs and allow them to future proof their businesses.

Responsible For CORETech – setting out that strategies that grow our products, develop our people, expand our business and care for our customers.
Proudest Work Moment Every go live day on a new customer site – the sound of the printer generating that first docket sounds sweeter than any symphony.

Why CORETech I started working in CORE Tech as a college intern in March 2013. Throughout my time here, I’ve worked with some exceptional people internally & and across our customer base, implemented our software in new customers and gained a vast amount of experience and skills along the way. No two days have ever been the same and I have always had the opportunities with CORE for personal & professional growth.
