Partnership Spotlight: AgriTech Ireland

Following on from our new partnership spotlight series, a way to highlight the fantastic partners that we work with in CORE, why we choose to partner with them and what benefit it has for us and our customers.

Next up in the series is AgriTech Ireland. AgriTech Ireland is a cluster organisation working to accelerate the sustainable growth and international reach of Ireland’s Agri tech Industry, they are a culmination of industry, academics, and government that unlock new opportunities and deliver growth to this crucial sector.

Why do CORE Tech partner with Agri Tech Ireland?

In the dynamic landscape of agricultural technology, strategic partnerships can be pivotal in fostering growth.  At CORE we recognise the value of forging alliances with organisations that share our vision for advancing the industry.  One recent partnership which has proven instrumental to our journey is with AgriTech Ireland

Our partnership started from encounters with Kieran O’ Donoghue at various Ag-Tech events, Kieran is the Educational Outreach manager at Munster Technological University for the AgriTech cluster. Through networking and insightful discussions, we identified that it would be beneficial for CORE Tech to partner with AgriTech Ireland.

AgriTech Ireland facilitates monthly collaborative groups where industry stakeholders convene to discuss key topics such as common challenges, sustainability, upskilling staff, and industry support. These gatherings serve as invaluable platforms for exchanging ideas and exploring collaborative opportunities. By actively participating in these circles, we gain firsthand insights into industry challenges, access crucial support networks and forget valuable connections for collaborative projects.

The AgriTech cluster’s commitment to curating insightful content is evident in the diverse array of speakers featured at the monthly events. From discussions on regional skills initiatives, to presentations on government supports available, these sessions are not only informative, but also highly relevant.

Central to CORE Techs ethos is the belief in the power of collaboration within circles. Hence, our involvement with AgriTech’s collaborative cluster resonates deeply with our core values. We are thrilled to be part of a community that fosters collaboration, drives innovation, and propels the agricultural sector forward.

Additionally, our partnership with AgriTech Ireland extends beyond collaborative initiatives to encompass talent acquisition. With AgriTech’s focus on bridging the gap between technology and agriculture, we have a unique opportunity to tap into a pool of highly skilled graduates with dual expertise in both domains. We recently visited Munster Technology University’s graduate recruitment fair, where we had the privilege of meeting with promising students from AgriTech’s programs.

In essence, our partnership with AgriTech Ireland not only facilitates knowledge exchange and collaboration but also empowers us to cultivate a talent pipeline that is tailored to the specific needs of our company. Nurturing this mutually beneficial relationship is important to CORE Tech, as we navigate the dynamically changing Ag-Tech landscape.
